In this photoshop tutorial, I am going to show you how you can create a pulse like animation to your images. I'll be using a image I personally made.
Step 1: This first thing you want to do is duplicate your layer. Press Ctrl+J to duplicate the background image.
Step 2: Then go to Filter > Blur > Radial Blur. You should get a pop-up box. Change the Amount to 20, the Blur Method to Zoom, and keep the Quality as Good, like this. You may change the Quality to best if you'd like but depending on your image size, it might take a while to load. Your Image should now look like this:
Step 3: Select the background layer again and duplicate it once more and drag it on top of your first layer, like this. Again, go to Filter > Blur > Radial Blur. Change the amount to 40 and leave everything else as is.
Step 4: Now duplicate layer 1 and drag it on top of the background copy. Now you're ready to Animate your image.
Step 5: Go to Window > Animation to open up the animation palette (if it isn't already open) and drag it to the bottom of photoshop to keep it in place. Make sure you're not viewing it as Animation (Timeline) but as the Animation (Frames). If it's the timeline, click the small button on the bottom right to switch it to the Animation Frames. (I hope this made sense, lol).
Step 6: Click the button at the upper right corner of the Animations palette and select the "Make Frames From Layers" option. You should now have four frames.
Step 7: Set the loop to forever and change the delay time of the frames, with Set first one to 0.2 Seconds and the rest to 0.1 Seconds. And you're done! What do you think? Comments & Feedback are very well appreciated.
